Hey, I’m

Dani Harris-Walters is a dynamic & multifaceted entertainer with a rich background as a Dance Artist, Choreographer, Presenter, Writer, and DJ. Dani has immersed himself in the vibrant realms of Hip Hop culture & theatre. His infectious charm, reflected in his ever-present smiley face, sets him apart as a beloved figure in the industry.

Graduating from the University of East London with a degree in Dance: Urban Practice, he continues to extend his influence by working with community groups & mentoring young creatives across the UK.

Dani propelled into the hip-hop theatre world working with Avant Garde Dance (AG), over 12 years Dani has performed and creatively contributed in AG’s international touring works: Black Album (2013-2015), Fagin’s Twist (2016-2017) & Illegal Dance (2021-Present). Dani became an Associate Artist with AG in 2021 and works closely with their young creatives programme AG2 and The Garde.

Who am I?

HOST

His first job came as a professional dancer in the London Olympic Games 2012 Opening Ceremony being a part of the ‘Second to the right, and straight on till morning’ cast, performing with NHS workers choreographed by Temujin Gil.

In summer 2024 Dani’s West End debut came playing the character Baitface in the afro-surreal play G at the Royal Court Theatre written by Tife Kushiro and directed by Monique Touko.

Dani’s versatility is further demonstrated through his debut full-length solo theatre work 'Happy Father’s Day', a fusion of movement, comedy, rap, animation, & spoken word that engages audiences in a fresh exploration of tabooed topics like puberty,  male mental and sexual health.
